Horne’s Ferry links Canada and the USA together via Wolfe Island, Ontario. The island is well placed to serve as your gateway to the famous 1000 Islands and historic Kingston Ontario.
Wolfe Island hosts numerous events through out the summer months such as the Wolfe Island Classic 5k 10k Run, the Wolfe Island Music Fest and The Scene of the Crime literary workshop. The Island is on an important flyway and is a staging area for migratory water fowl. It is also home to an environmentally important area known as Big Sandy Bay.
Recreational opportunities abound for visitors from golfing, cycling and boating through to more traditional hunting and fishing activities.
Old Fort Henry and the many museums and historic sites Kingston are a 20 minute ferry ride on the Wolfe Islander III.
